I first selected this from the view print window on another image of yours. I was drawn to the pastel snow colors and the simplicity of the view. Then I considered how it would look with the pink glow changed to a more traditional cool blue palette in the ice and sky. Along that line how about black and white.

In any color range the simplicity is still there. I like the serene calm it represents. I like the fact mankind is not a major player in the image. No park benches shown, no overhead lines and no footprints. The bright saturated golden/coffee colors in the branch ends add to the impact.
